Courage's maternal grand sire, Castle Baron (Abbeyleix Owen x Castle Dame). Now deceased, 'Henry' was the Supreme Champion and All Breeds Champion Austraila 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 standing at Sue Clarke's Glenormiston Connemara Pony Stud in Australia. His full brother, Castle Comet, was Junior Champion in Clifden 1996, ‘97. Supreme Champion in hand at Breed Show in England 2000, 2003, Supreme Champion R.D.S 2004. Supreme in-hand Champion Royal Show 2005 and 2006 and numerous other in-hand championships. Mountain & Moorlands Champion. Champion of Champions at Horse of the Year’ 2002 this was the first time a Connemara Pony or any other native breed has won ‘Horse of the Year’. Also a winner of Olympia 2004.
